Fremantle have made four changes for Friday’s Gather Round clash with Gold Coast at Norwood Oval.
Michael Frederick, Matthew Johnson, Sam Sturt and Corey Wagner come into the 22 replacing Matt Taberner, Nathan O’Driscoll, Liam Henry and Nathan Wilson.
Will Brodie, Josh Draper, Liam Henry and Josh Corbett have been named as the emergencies, with one of those four to be confirmed as the substitute an hour before bouncedown.
Fremantle confirmed Wagner would make his Club debut earlier on Thursday, with the defender previously playing 19 games for North Melbourne and Melbourne between 2016 and 2019.
Frederick returns after a week on the sidelines due to an eye injury sustained in the RAC Derby, where he kicked two goals.
Matthew Johnson will play his first game as a member of Fremantle’s 22 after being named as the substitute against West Coast and Adelaide.
Sturt has played four games and kicked five goals since he was drafted in the first round of the 2018 National Draft.
The forward impressed in his most recent appearance in Fremantle colours, kicking two goals in a pre-season clash against Port Adelaide at Fremantle Oval.

He was also instrumental in Peel’s four-point win in round one against East Fremantle on Good Friday, kicking two goals to go with his 14 disposals and four tackles.
Senior Coach Justin Longmuir praised Sturt’s work on both his offensive and defensive game to earn selection for the first time since round four of 2021 against Hawthorn.
“He’s impacting on both sides of the ball and bringing really strong intensity and consistent intensity for the whole game,” Longmuir said.
“I’ve been really happy with his pre-season, I think his game in the pre-season against Port Adelaide was a massive step forward for him.
“He's confident and deserves an opportunity.”
Bouncedown for the clash is at 4.40pm CST (3.10pm WST) and will be broadcast live into WA on Channel 7, Fox Footy and can be streamed on Kayo.
The game is officially a sellout, with 10,500 tickets sold for the Norwood Oval clash.
