Fremantle have made two changes for Saturday’s clash against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium.
Lloyd Meek and Josh Treacy have come in for the injured Sean Darcy (concussion) and Matt Taberner (hamstring).
Bailey Banfield is also technically an out after playing in the final quarter against Carlton after coming on as the medical sub.
The Cats have gone unchanged from the team that defeated North Melbourne in round six, opting to give Patrick Dangerfield another week to recover from a calf cork.
Fremantle will celebrate two milestones for the game, with Darcy Tucker playing his 100th and Lachie Schultz his 50th.
The versatile Tucker first played for Fremantle in 2016, establishing himself in the side and playing regular football until an injury interrupted season in 2020.
Drafted at no.57 at the 2018 NAB AFL Draft, Schultz has kicked 47 goals from his 49 games, including nine so far this season.
Fremantle have a potential debutant in Karl Worner in their squad, named as an emergency alongside Bailey Banfield, Nathan Wilson and Ethan Hughes. One of those four will be confirmed as a medical sub an hour before bouncedown.
The speedy Worner has impressed in his two WAFL appearances for Peel this season, with 31 disposals and two goals against East Fremantle and 27 disposals against West Perth.
Bouncedown for the clash is at 11.45am (WST) but unfortunately the game will not be broadcast live into WA on free to air. See here for more details.
Fremantle will be in their purple jumpers for the clash for the first time in an away game this season.
