Fremantle Supplemental Selection Period signing Isaiah Dudley will make his AFL debut for Fremantle against West Coast on Sunday.

Dudley was added to the Fremantle squad in February, with the announcement made during a player lunch with the Indigenous All-Stars team, on the eve of the pre-season clash at Optus Stadium.

His journey to landing on Fremantle's list came after finishing third in Central District’s 2024 best and fairest in the SANFL and an excellent finals series for the Bulldogs.

A spot became available for Dudley after young forward/ruck Odin Jones was placed on the long-term injury list in December, following spinal surgery for a fractured vertebra.

The 21-year-old has kicked two goals in both of Peel Thunder’s WAFL practice matches against Perth and West Coast but, most impressively, has been a livewire with his pressure and attack on the football in both fixtures.

Defender Brandon Walker is the only omission from the extended squad, following the dislocation of his left shoulder in the Club’s Round 2 loss to Sydney.

Defenders James Aish and Karl Worner, alongside ruckman Liam Reidy are the other inclusions to the squad with Dudley.

Aish, Bailey Banfield, Josh Draper, Dudley, Matthew Johnson, Pat Voss and Worner make up the eight-man extended bench.

Three-time Glendinning-Allen medallist Caleb Serong has been named in the middle alongside Andrew Brayshaw, with Luke Jackson in the ruck.

Fremantle’s final team will be named at 2.00pm WST on Friday at fremantlefc.com.au. The tactical substitute will be confirmed one hour before bounce down on Sunday.

Fremantle has won two of the last three RAC Derbies, by an average margin of 68 points.

Sunday’s RAC Derby begins at 3.10pm WST and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy and streamed live on Kayo and 7plus.
