Fremantle have made two changes for the Club’s inaugural clash between Freo and Richmond in the AFLW competition for Pride Round at the Swinburne Centre on Saturday afternoon.
Livewire forward Roxy Roux will return to the Fremantle line-up for her first game of 2022, while forward Kara Antonio will also make her return after recovering from a minor knee complaint.
The pair replace defender Janelle Cuthbertson (concussion, one week) and Ann McMahon who will be managed for the clash.

Fremantle will unveil the Club’s first ever Pride Jumper against the Tigers, with the jumper based around Fremantle’s away strip, with the colours of the Pride Flag filling the chevrons.
The back of the jumper features the Progress Flag as well as an homage to the popular ‘Containbow’ public artwork located off Canning Highway in East Fremantle, designed by local artist Marcus Canning.
Senior coach Trent Cooper said it was great to see Roux and Antonio return to the side.
“Roxy has trained exceptionally well over the past two weeks and has been one of our best performers on the track,” Cooper said.
“She is ready to go and hopefully, she will be able to give us another forward option for Richmond to match-up on.
“Kara sustained a minor knee injury against West Coast in round one and was close to playing last week, but she has trained really strongly this week and is ready to go.
“Ann will be managed this week which allows us to be able to rotate our squad and have as many players as possible in form to choose from over the next few weeks.
“Ann’s form has been really solid in the first two rounds, and she will play a major part in the rest of our season.”
Bouncedown for the clash is at 2.10pm WST, with the game broadcast from 2pm nationally on Fox Footy and streamed live on Kayo and the AFL Women’s app.
