Harley Balic celebrates a win with the Fremantle supporters in his debut game in round 3, 2017.

The Fremantle Football Club is saddened to learn of the tragic passing of former player Harley Balic.

Balic was selected by Fremantle at pick #38 in the 2015 AFL National Draft and played four games and kicked three goals during his two seasons with the Club.

He made his debut in round three of the 2017 season, where Fremantle defeated the reigning premier Western Bulldogs at Subiaco Oval.

He was also a Peel Thunder premiership player, with 20 disposals in the 2016 Grand Final.

Fourteen players on Fremantle's AFL list were teammates with Balic during his time at the Club in Griffin Logue, Sean Darcy, Nat Fyfe, Michael Walters, Luke Ryan, Nathan Wilson, Connor Blakely, Ethan Hughes, David Mundy, Darcy Tucker, Matt Taberner, Joel Hamling, Alex Pearce and Brennan Cox.
