Fremantle have completed a pick swap with Collingwood that gets the Club higher in the second round of the NAB AFL National Draft.
It is the Club’s first pick swap of the Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period.
Fremantle will receive pick no.22 in exchange for pick no.27 and a future third round pick.

Head of Player Personnel David Walls said pick no.22 would be highly valuable to the Club in either the draft or at the trade table.
“We’ve done a pick swap with Collingwood. We get Collingwood’s pick no.22 in exchange for pick no.27 and a future third,” Walls said.
“Basically this gives us more bargaining power at the trade table and it also puts us in a great spot in the draft.
“It’s a selection that’s really early in the second round and we think there’s going to be some good players there in the draft, so we’re very open minded about whether we use it ourselves or go to the trade table.”
