The Fremantle Dockers Football Club plays an active role in supporting and growing our great game through a variety of programs supporting all abilities from participation through to talent. We acknowledge community clubs, schools, coaches and volunteers as key drivers in achieving this and we seek to provide programs that support these key pillars through:
- Providing ongoing resource support to coaches of all levels, ranging from Junior & Senior Football, State level Football, Schools & other Community organisations through our Fremantle Dockers community coaching initiatives, along with supporting our state football body, the West Australian Football Commission’s coaching accreditation and development programs. The Fremantle Dockers recognise the important role that coaches play in the engagement, development and retention of players.
- CBA & Community Camps play a pivotal role in introducing new participants and fans to our great game through player lead programs focusing on the fundamental skills through fun and engaging drills and games. The CBA & Community camps allow us to bring the game to our fans with appearances at community clubs, schools, regional areas & other community organisations.
- Partnered support programs to maximise our reach throughout Western Australia, the Fremantle Dockers proudly partner with the WAFC, SEDA Senior Secondary Education, Curtin University, Notre Dame University & other charitable organisations to deliver programs that focus on improving the health and wellbeing of West Australians.
