Fremantle’s penultimate clash of the 2021 Toyota AFL Premiership season is locked in, with an RAC Derby fixture confirmed for Sunday 15 August at Optus Stadium.
Bouncedown for the Fremantle home game is at 3.10pm, with the game broadcast live into Perth on Channel Seven and Fox Footy.
Sunday’s RAC Derby will mark the 53rd clash between Fremantle and West Coast.
As well as both teams vying for finals, the clash has added significance with David Mundy playing a Club-equaling record 353rd game, bringing him alongside fellow Freo legend Matthew Pavlich.
It will be the last chance for fans to cheer on Mundy before he potentially plays a record 354th game against St Kilda in round 23 at Marvel Stadium.
Fremantle fans will also have the opportunity to farewell retiring legend Stephen Hill, with the Club paying special tribute to the 218-game player.
Freo will also be thanking our passionate 50,342 members on Sunday for their ongoing support throughout 2021, so help us pack out Optus Stadium in purple!
