Fremantle could see two forwards return for Sunday's RAC Derby at Optus Stadium.
Sam Switkowski (hamstring) and Bailey Banfield (concussion) will both push their cases for selection at Thursday’s main training session.
Executive general manager of football Peter Bell gave the latest in the Envision Medical Imaging injury update for round 22.
“Sam’s training really well,” Bell said.
“Pending him getting through main training on Thursday, we’re really confident he’ll be available.
“Bailey’s ticking all the boxes and he’s another who will be available, provided he gets through main training on Thursday.”
Bell confirmed defender Nathan Wilson had sustained a hamstring injury after being subbed off in the final term against Brisbane on Sunday.
Wilson was set to play his 150th AFL game but will now miss at least a fortnight of football.
“Unfortunately, Nathan sustained a hamstring strain,” Bell said.
“He’ll be unavailable most likely for the next couple of weeks at least.”
