A four-goal haul from Rory Lobb has propelled Fremantle to a 62-point victory over Hawthorn in Launceston on Saturday afternoon.
Fremantle were in command for the majority of the game, showcasing silky ball movement to leave the Hawks for dust in the 16.12(108) to 6.10(46) win, just their second-ever at the venue now known as UTAS Stadium - and the first won without an official protest.
Hawthorn's Dylan Moore kicked the opening goal of the game, but it didn't take long for Freo to fire back, booting five first-quarter goals courtesy of Lobb (three) and Bailey Banfield (two).
ALL THE HIGHLIGHTS
From there, Fremantle had the game entirely on their terms, with captain Nat Fyfe racking up 31 disposals and booting one goal in his 200th game. He was well supported by young gun Caleb Serong (30 disposals, 10 clearances) and veteran David Mundy (30 disposals, six clearances, two goals).
Banfield finished with three goals, with Sam Switkowski and Josh Treacy also booting two apiece.
For the Hawks, Emerson Jeka kicked his first - and second - AFL goal in just his third game, while Tom Mitchell was reliably prolific with 39 disposals and seven clearances.
