Fremantle pair Andrew Brayshaw and Liam Henry have both been nominated for the Rebel Goal of the Year in Freo’s round 12 match against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday.
Brayshaw’s entry came from a ripping boundary-line effort with a toe-poke, gather and a sprint away from the Bulldogs defensive pressure to execute the perfect banana from deep in the pocket.
Meanwhile, Henry’s goal included just as much brilliance, controlling the ball after spilling out from a Michael Walters tackle. Two soccer kicks and a clean gather off the deck led to a skilful snap through the big sticks.
Brayshaw and Henry have been nominated alongside Richmond’s Shai Bolton.
