Sunday's RAC Derby will go ahead but without crowds at Optus Stadium.
WA Premier Mark McGowan confirmed that zero crowds will be allowed in the stands during his media conference on Sunday morning.
The Premier said that the health and safety of the community was paramount.
“I understand people will be disappointed, some people will be frustrated,” Premier McGowan said.
“But the decision has been made on health advice and we have tried to communicate this as quickly as possible.”
For supporters who have purchased tickets to attend the match, Ticketmaster will issue a refund. No action is required from the ticket purchaser.
The game will be broadcast live into Perth on Channel 7 and Fox Footy from 2.30pm and can be streamed on Kayo.
