After a fantastic pre-season campaign, which included a Polly Farmer Medal for his best-on-field performance in the All Stars clash, the 20-year-old sustained a minor hamstring strain in the team’s two-point loss to the Brisbane Lions in the bi-annual QCLASH at Metricon Stadium.
But after spending the past two rounds on the sidelines, Bennell is expected to be passed fit at Wednesday’s main training session and earn a recall to the senior team that will go head-to-head against the Fremantle Dockers on Saturday night.
