Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe was the star of the club's match simulation on Saturday, with the midfielder having a big impact up forward.
The highlight of the scratch match came when Fyfe got on the end of an inside 50 from rookie forward Josh Treacy.
Fyfe climbed above the pack to pull down the mark 20 metres out and converted the set shot.
It was one of Fyfe's five goals for the day.
Earlier this week, senior coach Justin Longmuir said he was looking to rotate Fyfe more through the forward line on top of his midfield role.
“I’m keen to trial just the two (key) forwards and get some rotations through the midfield,” Longmuir said.
“Fyfe has some real ability forward of centre with his ability to read the play, attract a good defender and really free up space for the others."
