Fremantle have named 22 players to take part in a practice match against West Coast on Saturday at Lathlain Park.
The match will be closed to the public under guidance from the AFL and its Covid-19 protocols.
The game will be the first chance for draftees Sarah Verrier and Maggie MacLachlan to have a hitout against AFLW opponents.
It will also mark a key milestone in Stephanie Cain’s recovery from an ACL injury, with the gun midfielder set to make her return to football after sustaining the injury in round one last year.
Fremantle will be without captain Kara Antonio for the clash, however most of their star players will be in action including Kiara Bowers, Gemma Houghton, Hayley Miller, Ebony Antonio, Gabby O’Sullivan, Sabreena Duffy and Roxy Roux.
The game will also see midfielder Tiah Haynes make her return to Fremantle after she was delisted following the 2018 season and redrafted ahead of this season.
With the game will be closed to the public, stay tuned to Fremantle’s social media channels for coverage and match highlights will be posted on fremantlefc.com.au on Monday.
