Fremantle players and staff took the chance to catch up and reminisce about the club’s inaugural season in a function at Swan Yacht Club in East Fremantle on Sunday.

The past players included former captains Shaun McManus and Peter Bell as well as newly inducted life member Dale Kickett.

Former Freo Dockers Jason Norrish, Neil Mildenhall, Stephen O’Reilly, Scott Edwards, Anthony Jones, Jamie Merillo, Brad Wira, Matthew Burton, Craig Callaghan and Tony Delaney were also in attendance.

Fremantle’s senior coach between 1995 and 1998 Gerard Neesham and life member Jeff Boyle, who worked as a physio for every Fremantle season between 1995 and 2020, wore their vintage Fremantle jackets for the photograph.

Inaugural chairman Ross Kelly, former football manger Gerard McNeil and recruiting manager Phil Smart were also among the attendees.
