Fremantle have made just one change fortheir annual Starlight Purple Haze Game against GWS, with Brett Bewley making his return.
The midfielder, who was managed in round 13 against Sydney, comes in for Michael Frederick, who will be managed for the clash against the Giants.
Bewley has played 11 of Freo’s 12 games this year, averaging just under 15 disposals and two tackles per game.
Frederick, Tobe Watson, Bailey Banfield and Luke Valente have been named as the emergencies.
In his weekly media conference, senior coach Justin Longmuir said Fremantle were continuing to manage their players as they head into a condensed fixture of four games in 15 days, starting with Saturday’s game.
“Michael Frederick is going to be managed this week, it’s been on the cards with Mick for a few weeks,” Longmuir said.
“We’re about to go away to a hub and we’re going to have a condensed fixture.
“It’s a good opportunity to give him a week off and give him a good run into the Richmond game (on Wednesday), so Bewley will come in for him.”
Bounce down for the clash is at 2.35pm and will be broadcast live into WA on Channel 7 and Fox Footy.
The game can also be streamed live on Kayo and AFL Live pass.
