Michael Johnson says it is still a special feeling to play for the club he has supported since he was a child.
Johnson is in line to play his 200th game on Friday night against Richmond.
The 2013 All Australian will be just the ninth player to reach the milestone for the club.
“It’s one thing I’ll look back on when I do retire, as 200 games is a lot of football in the AFL,” he said.
“Fremantle is the team I supported as a youngster and to be named along with those other players that have played over 200 games is something special.

“There are some great names that have played over 200 games for this club.”
Among them are club legends Matthew Pavlich, Paul Hasleby and Shaun McManus.
Johnson said he was looking forward to Friday night, with his family and friends to attend the game.
“It will be a big night for my friends and family,” he said.
“I get to run out through the banner with my kids, I can’t wait.”
Fremantle play Richmond at Domain Stadium on Friday 5 June. Bounce down is at 6.10pm.
