Despite appearing to leave Wednesday’s training session looking a bit sore, Ryan Crowley is confident he’ll be right to face North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

The 28-year-old tagger, who signed a two-year contract extension on Thursday, said there was no way he’d miss such a huge game.

“I will cut the foot off if it’s going to stop me,” he said.

“It will be the biggest game of the year.

“I’ll be out there ready to go.”

Crowley said the even spread of talent in the Kangaroos midfield had made it tougher for him to pinpoint who his opponent would be on Sunday.

“You can usually pick between one or two guys who I’m going to get most weeks, and then it’s just which magnet I’m next to in the meeting,” he said.

“This week we are finding it a bit difficult.

“Obviously (Daniel) Wells may be coming back in, and they have (Brent) Harvey and (Jack) Ziebell and (Andrew) Swallow.

“They’ve got a few guys I can go to so it will be interesting to see which way the coaches will go.”
