Boys continue to ‘Live the Dream’
The 16 Live the Dream participants had another great day of experiences at Freo
The day began with a walk around Fremantle port with John Longley, a member of the crew of Australia II when she won the America’s Cup in 1983 and father of Aussie basketball great Luc.
The boys then watched the Fremantle Dockers train and were introduced to the playing squad after the session.
There was a bit of a laugh when Stephen Hill introduced the boys he has been mentoring, Milton Miskin and Jack Walsh.
‘Hilly’ noted that the two boys were just as quiet as he is.
A player welfare session followed, featuring a chat from Nick Lower, who told the boys about life in and out of football, including the time he was delisted when at Port Adelaide.
To round off the day, Freo development coaches Ashley Prescott and Roger Hayden took the boys out onto Fremantle Oval for a training session.
