St Kilda's Ben Long has been referred directly to the tribunal by the match review officer after being charged with rough conduct against Sean Darcy in Saturday's clash at Metricon Stadium.
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Severe Impact and High Contact. The incident was classified as a direct referral to the Tribunal and the player cannot be offered an early plea.
The tribunal hearing is set to be held on Tuesday.
In other incidents in the match St Kilda's Rowan Marshall was fined $1000 with an early plea for striking Nathan Wilson.
