As the club transitions to Perth Stadium in 2018, Fremantle will offer what is understood to be the most affordable 11 home game reserved seat membership in the AFL, according to CEO Steve Rosich.
Speaking to Gareth Parker on 6PR Mornings, Rosich confirmed that Fremantle will provide membership options at Perth Stadium that are more affordable than what was on offer at Domain Stadium.
“What I’m pleased to say, because of the deal we have struck and our focus on affordability, we are able to offer what we understand is the most affordable 11 home game reserved seat membership in the AFL, starting at just $249 for adults,” Rosich said.
“That is for a category six seat. The category five seats start at $329, so there’ll be over 10 per cent of the stadium, in the order of 7,000 seats, available for adults from $329 (in category five) and in fact down to $249 for adults (in category six).
“And concession and junior prices are indeed less than that again.”
Rosich said he was delighted to keep football affordable at Perth Stadium, especially considering the quality of the new world-class sporting venue.
“As I said before, there’s not a bad seat in the house,” Rosich said.
“So it’s not about better or worse, they’re just at different locations around the stadium.
“There was a core focus at this football club in striking a deal with the State and the operator in making sure we can provide affordable options to our members and corporate partners.”
Fremantle will reveal the locations of the six seating categories on Monday, with the launch of Virtual Perth Stadium, an online portal.
Rosich said fans can use the portal to find out more about the seating locations for the six categories.
“Our membership team have done a great job over the past 12 months of sitting in every seat in the stadium to make sure they’re allocated at the appropriate category,” Rosich said.
“From today, members will be provided access to the Virtual Perth Stadium online portal, which provides members with an inside look inside the stadium, at all of the different seats available and the prices of those seats.
“That’s why it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s a 50-year deal, so it’s in the order of 550 home qualifying games to come and our members and supporters will get their chance to have the first pick of the seats.”
