Tendai Mzungu plays his 50th game in Sunday’s clash with North Melbourne, an achievement he’s very proud of.

Fremantle picked up the 27-year-old in a pre-draft trade with Gold Coast before the 2010 National Draft.

He made his debut in round 9, 2011, against Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium, and has played 49 of a possible 50 games since.

Mzungu won the Beacon Award in 2011 as the club’s best first year player, and backed that up a year later by taking out the Best Clubman award.

He said the 50-game milestone had crept up on him, but he acknowledged it was nice to get there.

"I’m very proud to be a 50-game player at Fremantle,” Mzungu said.

“Four or five years ago, it was the last thing on my mind.

“To be here, it’s something I’m really proud of and I have a lot of people to thank, but I also have a lot of unfinished business still.”

Look out next week for a brand new series on fremantlefc.com.au called Who Is...?, which will feature Mzungu in the first episode.
