Fremantle’s Michael Johnson has been named as a defender in the 2013 Four 'N Twenty All Australian team.

The only Freo Docker to make the prestigious 22-man team was selected in the back pocket.

Johnson has been superb in a backline that enjoyed one of the greatest defensive seasons ever.

He has played on the half-back line, often as the loose man in Ross Lyon’s set-up.

Johnson becomes the sixth Freo Docker to earn All Australian recognition in the club's history.

Fremantle's Nat Fyfe, Chris Mayne, David Mundy and Michael Walters were all named in a preliminary 40-man squad from which the final 22 was selected.
