More than 1,000 faithful Freo fans showed up to Fremantle Oval on Wednesday morning for the first open training session of the July School Holidays.

In what turned out to be a warm winters day, fans lined the oval parameter, eager to catch a glimpse of their favourite Freo player.

After a light training session and goal kicking exercise the players spread around the ground to meet fans and sign autographs.

The team will hold a closed training session on Friday as they prepare to take on West Coast in this Sunday’s Carlton Mid Derby at Patersons Stadium at 2.40pm.

The final open training session of 2013 will be held at Fremantle Oval next Tuesday, 16 July from 8.30am.
