WAFL Watch: Round 1 - Rucks and mids

Sam played half back for the first half and was moved onto the wing for the second. He did a good job in regards to his running patterns in the first half and had a good impact in the second half when he went on ball. He had six clearances and looked strong inside.
Brady Grey 8 disposals (3 kicks, 5 handballs) 4 tackles
Brady played on the ball, wing and as a high forward. He copped a heavy knock in the second quarter and demonstrated he is a tough competitor. His tackle pressure was good and he managed to defensively stop the ball rebounding out of defence.
Colin Sylvia 12 disposals (6 kicks, 6 handballs) 5 tackles
Colin played as an inside midfielder. He got involved in the contest and had a consistent impact around the clearances. He showed some strong tackle pressure in the first quarter and his bodywork around stoppages was strong where he owned the space. He only played a half, coming off in the second quarter.
Zac Clarke 13 disposals (10 kicks, 3 handballs) 30 hitouts, 1 goal
Zac rucked for the majority of the game and had short periods forward where he kicked a good goal after a strong contested mark. He won a large majority of the contests and provided a marking option. His ball use was effective and it was a strong performance from Zac.
Craig Moller 9 disposals (4 kicks, 5 handballs) 1 goal
Craig played deep forward for the majority of the game and rotated in the ruck. He positioned regularly as a long marking option and was involved in a lot of marking contests and showed he was competitive once the ball was brought to ground. He is improving his defensive accountability and Craig will continue to build his game.
