Brisbane have held off a fast-finishing Fremantle to take a 12-point win in round two at the Gabba.
Fremantle star Michael Walters booted two last-quarter goals to bring Freo within a kick in the final minutes, but Dayne Zorko kicked a goal with seconds remaining to seal the 12.9 (81) to 10.9 (69) victory.

Charlie Cameron was the catalyst for the Lions, booting four first-half goals before Freo defender Griffin Logue shut him down in the second half, while Lachie Neale finished with 29 disposals and two goals.
Fremantle skipper Nat Fyfe was the best in purple, shrugging off a quiet two-disposal first term to finish with 24 touches and three goals while Walters had 28 touches to go with his two majors.
James Aish was also impressive in his club debut for Fremantle, picking up 25 disposals, six marks and 488 metres gained.
Fremantle were without ruckman Sean Darcy for the last quarter and a half after he hyper-extended his left knee when landing in a ruck contest.
Brisbane’s Stef Martin also required treatment on the left knee he injured in round one, but he played out the game.
