It can only be good news when no new injuries have to be reported on the weekly HBF Injury Update.

The only casualty sports science manager Jason Weber had to report was Matthew Pavlich and his nose, which took a hit in Saturday’s win over Brisbane at Patersons Stadium.

“He was bleeding quite prolifically when he came off the field,” Weber said.

“It took a bit of construction work to get it halted, but he’s pulled up well.

“He had a little bit of a trot (at training) on Tuesday and he’ll be fine for Thursday.”

Matt de Boer has been on the sidelines with a knee injury over the past month, but he trained on Tuesday and will push for selection.

“Matt was real good, he was on schedule and he’ll train again Thursday and be available for match committee,” Weber said.

Injured stars Luke McPharlin, Michael Johnson, and Michael Walters were also on the track on Tuesday.

“We’ll look to push them forward where possible and match them off against our KPI’s,” Weber said.

“They’re all on target and doing really well.”

Both Fremantle and Peel Thunder played in very wet conditions on Saturday. Weber said everyone had pulled up fine, save for a few bruises.

"Usually, after a wet game, what we see is a little more contact injury because the ball gets spilt a little bit more, it’s not quite as clean,” he said.

“Therefore, there’s more contested possessions. They’re a little bit more bruised on Tuesday morning, but everyone ran really well and pulled up well.”
