The players, staff and board of the Fremantle Dockers Football Club extends their sympathy and thoughts to those impacted by the devastating bushfires that are currently affecting thousands of Australians.

The resilience and spirit of the country has been on show throughout this tragic event, from the sacrifice and incredible efforts made by emergency services and volunteers as well as the amazing generosity of those around the country to support their fellow Australians. 

There is also a great passion from the Fremantle Dockers players and staff to assist with fundraising efforts and we are working with the AFL and our fellow AFL clubs to determine how best to help those in need. 

We are aware that one of these ideas may include a State of Origin match, which is something the club is fully supportive of.
