Fremantle captain Matthew Pavlich took part in drills with the main group after completing running exercises on Friday in promising signs he will play on Sunday.
Pavlich was included in a 25-man squad on Thursday to face Melbourne at Domain Stadium after he was ruled out of last week’s loss to North Melbourne with an Achilles injury.
Pavlich completed a number of running drills with sports science staff before he joined the main group.
Young midfielder Ed Langdon trained with the AFL squad and senior coach Ross Lyon said he was a high chance of making his debut.
Michael Walters was kept on light duties in the gym while Luke McPharlin appeared in good health.
