Fremantle may be undefeated and sitting on top of the AFL ladder, but defender Lee Spurr believes there is still plenty of improvement to come.
The past fortnight has seen Freo get off to flying starts against West Coast and Sydney, before both teams cut back large deficits.
Spurr believes Freo is yet to put together a four-quarter performance.
Freo ready for fierce contest at the 'G'
“I think it highlights for us that any team you play in the competition, if you drop off five per cent, they’re going to come,” he said.
“It’s a really close competition this year and everyone is competitive, so I think that was the highlight we took away from it.
“We need to be on our A-game for the whole 100 minutes and we haven’t achieved that yet.
“That’s something we’re striving for from start to finish.”
Fremantle takes on Melbourne at the MCG on Sunday 3 May.
