Fremantle’s Hayden Crozier says being part of a driven group of players and coaching staff is why he decided to extend his contract with the club until the end of 2017.
 
The Victorian product has played 33 career games for the club, since his arrival at pick 20 in the 2011 National Draft.
 
At just 21, he is among a core group of Fremantle’s next generation.
 
“It is a very hard working and driven group,” he said.
 
“We are an incredibly close group.
 
“We’ve got a lot of good young players coming through, which is exciting.”

Tommy gun locked in
 
Crozier said he was happy to stay in WA despite most of his family living in Victoria.
 
“I get along with the boys, so it is the right place to be,” he said.
 
“I have a good core group of mates outside footy too, which is why I decided to stay.”
 
Fremantle general manager of player management Brad Lloyd said Crozier had settled in well since arriving in 2011.
 
“He is a highly skilled player with strong running capabilities with the ability to kick goals,” he said.
 
“We look forward to seeing Hayden continue his development as a player with the club.”
