New Fremantle recruit Harley Balic has heard all about the Perth lifestyle from friend, and now team mate, Ed Langdon.
Balic played alongside Langdon for Sandringham in the TAC Cup in 2014 as he bottom-age player.
The 18-year-old was drafted by Fremantle at pick 38 in Tuesday’s NAB AFL Draft.
Langdon was drafted to Fremantle in 2014, playing two AFL games in 2015.
Balic said Langdon had kept him informed of the perks of playing for Fremantle, including plenty of beaches and Perth’s sunny lifestyle.
“I’ve known Ed through the Dragons and TAC Cup, we became quite good friends,” Balic said.
“He said the lifestyle is good.
“Ed said he’s loved every minute of it.”
Balic said he loved heading to the beach and had spotted plenty of spots along the coast to explore on his way to the club.
