Pinjarra Football Club junior footballers got a treat on Sunday with Fremantle Docker Harley Bennell paying a visit to his old club, the Mandurah Mail newspaper reports.
Bennell, who started his football journey with the Pinjarra Tigers, was on hand for the club’s junior registration day.
Bennell bound for NAB Challenge
The talented midfielder signed autographs and had a kick of the football with some of the young footballers.
Bennell is yet to play a game for the Fremantle Dockers after being traded from the Gold Coast at the end of the season.
He missed the opening NAB Challenge match against Richmond due to an ongoing calf issue but is expected to feature in at least one pre-season game before the season proper.
