All Australian forward Hayden Ballantyne says every game is a danger game in the AFL, ahead of Sunday’s match against a promising Western Bulldogs team.
Match preview: Fremantle v Western Bulldogs
Ballantyne said there are no easy games in the AFL.
“There is no such thing as an easy game of football, every game is a danger game,” he said.
“One bad quarter and you open the door for the opposition to come back.”
Ballantyne said the Bulldogs were an exciting young team that played aggressive football.
Plenty of improvement left in Freo's game
He is particularly in awe of high draft pick, Marcus Bontempelli.
“The Bullies have been playing some great footy this year,” he said.
“The young guys coming through are some really good footballers.
“I like watching Bontempelli play, he’s a gun.”
Ballantyne said Freo would show the Bulldogs plenty of respect, particularly at home in Melbourne.
Fremantle play the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium on Sunday 17 May at 1.10pm local time.
