It is the diagram that has got everyone scratching their heads.

A photo of Fremantle senior coach Ross Lyon with his whiteboard during Saturday’s win over Richmond shows a complex drawing of ball movements around the ground.

Nat Fyfe told Channel 7’s Game Day that Lyon loved to use the pen and whiteboard to illustrate a point.

“He’s a magician when he gets going with the pen, crazy things happen but it always works out in the end,” he said.

Lachie Neale told Channel 9’s Sunday Footy Show that he had forgot what Lyon was addressing with the diagram.

“I guess he’s drawing some options,” he said.

“The circles up the top are players we’re trying to kick to.”
