The Fremantle Dockers will be travelling to Broome for the 2017 Australia Post AFL Community Camp.
The Community Camp will run from Wednesday 30 November to Thursday 1 December and will have a renewed focus on school visits while also undertaking AFL super clinics and training sessions in the community.
The playing group will visit schools in Broome and travel to Derby and the Bidyadanga Community to meet fans.
Fremantle defender and Broome local, Joel Hamling says he is excited for the club to visit his home town.
“I am very proud and honoured to have grown up in the Kimberley, there is so much young talent up there,” Hamling said.
“Freo’s visit to Broome will give local kids something to strive for.”
The Australia Post Community Camps have been running since 2004 and continue to strive to develop stronger links between Aussie Rules and the broader community.
