As coaches begin to finalise their fantasy sides, two experienced Fremantle midfielders put their case forward for a late call-up with stellar performances against Geelong on Friday night.
Stephen Hill took full toll of the freedom afforded to him by the Cats, amassing 37 possessions, five tackles and four marks for a season-high score of 123.
David Mundy (112) was also rewarded for his work in the clinches, despite a comparatively meagre possession count of 24. The Fremantle skipper laid eight tackles and slotted a goal, in an impressive showing.
Connor Blakely (83) continued his meteoric price-hike, adding another $5k to his worth. The second-year midfielder, who now demands $382,000, has stacked on $245k in value – the most of any player in the AFL.
Sam Collins jumped another $4k, while Cam Sutcliffe (+$11k) showed positive signs playing a more attacking role, which, if sustained, could yield useful returns.
Hayden Crozier also earned himself duel position status as a forward/defender, and could be a handy low-cost option from this week.
