- "You're either Freo or Eagles, and I'm Freo"
- Wilson's childhood dreams become reality
- Wilson's aim to 'take Freo to the top'
Nathan Wilson is looking forward to a completely new experience when he plays his first game in front of the Freo faithful.
Not only will the size of the crowd be a factor but also the location, with Wilson arriving at Fremantle ahead of the club’s transition to Perth Stadium.
The new ground has been hailed as among the best in the world and Wilson says he can’t wait to check it out.
“Probably the biggest crowd I’ve played in front of was at Spotless Stadium in the Preliminary final,” Wilson said.
“I think it was about 24,000 people so to be at the new stadium and playing in front of, hopefully, 60,000 Freo supporters and the opposition supporters. I can’t wait.
“I haven’t seen the new stadium yet but I’m looking forward to that part.”
