Fremantle fans will get their first glimpse of up to six new players, as well as captain Nat Fyfe’s return from injury, when Freo takes on West Coast in a sold out JLT Community Series clash at Wonthella Oval in Geraldton on Saturday.
Fyfe will make his return to senior football after sustaining a broken leg against Carlton in round five, and missing the remainder of the 2016 season.
Michael Johnson, who also suffered a season ending injury against Carlton, has also been named in the squad.
All four of Fremantle’s signings during the 2016 NAB AFL Trade Period have been named, in Cam McCarthy, Bradley Hill, Joel Hamling and Shane Kersten - alongside new draftees Sean Darcy and Brennan Cox.
From the squad of 29 players, 26 will feature in Saturday’s clash, while the three emergencies are named on match-day.
As the pre-season clash is sold out, no AFL or Club membership scans or general admission tickets will be available to buy on match day. Only pre-purchased ticket holders will be admitted entry.
