Nat Fyfe (leg) is expected to be available for next Friday’s cut-throat Preliminary Final, with the 2015 AFLPA MVP on track to return to full training next week.
Fyfe has been managing inflammation in his left fibula that had him sidelined for the final two rounds of the home and away season.
Fremantle sports science manager Jason Weber said Fyfe would have his own training program this week before re-joining the main group next week.
“Nat had a full game,” he said.
“He’s pulled up well, he has a well documented issue but he’s certainly recovering at a faster rate than he has in previous weeks.”
Weber said Luke McPharlin (calf) was working through KPIs in his quest to be fit.
“Luke has had some calf soreness, similar to what he had earlier in the year,” he said.
Matthew Pavlich’s who has managed achilles soreness much of the year is on light duties but is expected to play.
“We’ll definitely see him back involved with the team (training) and available for selection,” Weber said.
Hayden Crozier (calf) may also be available while ruckman Jon Griffin has progressed well with a hamstring injury and is on track to return to training next week.
