Two Fremantle Next Generation Academy concession signings have been named in the initial squad of 38 players preparing for the 2018 AFL National 18s Championships.
Jason Carter (18) and Tom Medhat (17) will both train as a part of the initial squad that will be used to select the final WA team for the championships in June and July.
Carter and Medhat are both members of Fremantle’s Next Generation Academy and are eligible for selection by Fremantle as academy selections in the 2018 NAB AFL National Draft.
Four NGA players have also been named in the initial state U16 squad of 47 players in Joel Western, Keanu Haddow, Brandon Walker and Christopher Walker.
