Fremantle have named two changes to the starting 22 that will face St Kilda at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.

Two experienced hands return with defender Michael Johnson and midfielder Danyle Pearce coming in for Nathan Wilson (back soreness) and Ethan Hughes (omitted).

Johnson and Pearce combine for 492 AFL games experience and will bolster the Fremantle lineup looking to bounce back from consecutive losses.

Pearce has been dominant at WAFL level for Peel since his omission after round one, averaging 30.8 disposals and 5.2 marks per game.

Johnson has played five games in 2018, averaging 16 disposals and 6.4 marks.

Hughes, Ryan Nyhuis, Tommy Sheridan and Shane Kersten have been named as Fremantle’s emergencies.
