Harley Bennell has made a successful return from injury to play a big role in Peel Thunder’s nail biting 5-point loss against West Perth this Saturday at HBF Arena.
Amassing 30 disposals and kicking two goals in a dominant display, Bennell was one of the Thunder’s best on ground, despite only playing on limited minutes in every quarter across the game.
All eyes had been on the Fremantle star coming into the game, but Bennell was showing no signs of the calf injuries that have have kept him out of the AFL since the end of the 2017 season.
