Michael Barlow did his chances of playing in Sunday’s Carlton Draught Derby no harm as the midfielder joined in the main training session at Fremantle Oval this morning.

Barlow injured his knee in the round 2 game against Gold Coast Suns at Patersons Stadium.

Anthony Morabito was a noticeable absence, as was Nat Fyfe.

Ross Lyon hinted toward a possible return for Morabito last night in an interview on Channel 7.

If Morabito is selected to play in this Sunday’s Derby it will be the first time he has ran out in purple since the 2010 Semi-Final against Geelong at the MCG.

Injured star, Michael Walters watched on from the sidelines, offering his teammates support.
