Ash Brazill will be a test to play for Fremantle’s Semi-Final match against the Crows this Saturday at Norwood Oval.

The defender has missed the last two matches, however, was named to play in last week’s elimination final clash with Essendon and was a late withdrawal after failing to pass a final fitness test on her ankle injury.

AFLW High Performance Manager Corey Morris said the Club has been conservative with its approach to rest Brazill and is hopeful she will be available for selection.

“Ash obviously missed over the weekend. She didn’t quite pass what we needed to see from her last week,” Morris said.

“She’s progressed reasonably well over the weekend, and she’ll be a test this weekend to go again.”

Amy Mulholland’s return to play is still yet to be determined, after the forward took a courageous mark in the early minutes in the final quarter on Saturday and landed on her neck and head.

“Amy had a pretty heavy fall from a marking contest in the last quarter,” Morris said.

“She fell into our concussion protocols (and) was cleared of any serious injuries.

“At the moment she’s just resting and recovering because it was quite a heavy concussion, and we’ll progress her back once she’s ready to enter the protocols.”
