Peel Thunder are preparing to clash with Swan Districts in Sunday's preliminary final at Steel Blue Oval.
The Thunder came from behind with seconds left on the clock to defeat Claremont by a single point in last week’s semi-final clash, booking themselves a rematch with the Swans who previously defeated Peel in week one’s qualifying final.
Neil Erasmus is one of the form players in the competition, averaging 27 disposals, four marks and five tackles across Peel's first two finals appearances.
The Thunder can select up to 12 AFL-listed players in a finals game, with players being automatically eligible if they have played at least six WAFL league games throughout the season, including two in the past eight rounds.
Fremantle players available:
Will Brodie
Neil Erasmus
Hugh Davies
Tom Emmett
Liam Reidy
Cooper Simpson
Ethan Hughes
Ethan Stanley
Jack Delean
Karl Worner
Matthew Taberner
Nathan O’Driscoll
Pat Voss
Taberner and Hughes will remain part of Peel’s finals campaign despite being informed on Wednesday that they would not be offered contracts for Fremantle in 2025.
A win on Sunday will see Peel take on East Perth in the WAFL grand final at Optus Stadium on Sunday 22 September.
