Ariana Hetherington, Sarah Verrier and a potential Club debutant in Gabby Biedenweg-Webster have all been named as possible inclusions to Fremantle’s final 21 that will take on Adelaide Crows at Fremantle Oval on Sunday.
The trio joins Tunisha Kikoak, Orlagh Lally, Meg Kauffman, Jo Cregg and Amy Mulholland on the Club’s extended bench of eight.
After kicking four majors in week 1 against Essendon, Áine Tighe has been named at full forward while last week's impressive Club debutant Aish McCarthy has been named on-ball alongside Dana East, Hayley Miller and Mim Strom.
Tighe will captain the side this Sunday, in the absence of Ange Stannett who will fulfil her coaching role on the bench.
Sunday’s match will be the first home game in front of the Purple Army for 2024, after Fremantle took home their first win of the season against Essendon last week in a 43-point victory.
This will also mark the first time Fremantle have played the Crows since round 7 in Season 2022b.
The Club’s extended bench will be trimmed to five players tomorrow when final teams are announced at 3pm WST at fremantlefc.com.au
Bounce down for the clash is at 3.05pm, with the game broadcast live on 7Mate and Fox Footy, as well as streamed live on Kayo.
Tickets for the match are just $15 for adults, while juniors (under 18) are free, make sure you avoid the queues by purchasing your ticket online before the game.
