Calling all Freo Fans! The Club’s 2024 Indigenous clash jumpers are now up for auction.
The jumpers were worn both in the Clubs round 10 clash with Euro-Yroke (St Kilda) and the weekend’s round 18 meeting with Hawthorn.
The auction is now live until 7pm (WST) Thursday 18 July and gives fans the opportunity to bid on the playing 23’s match-worn and signed Indigenous clash jumpers, designed by Daniel McHenry and Club legend Michael Johnson.
Johnson and McHenry are cousins, and their jumper design tells the story of their family bloodlines originating in Kija country (Halls Creek) and Ballardong country (Quairading).
The jumper pays respect to those who have come before and is a call-back to the original jumper Johnson wore when he debuted for the Club.
Gun midfielder Hayden Young’s jumper will be one of the hottest items after his impressive 20 disposals, eight tackles and four goal assists, along with star ruckman Luke Jackson who gathered 31 hit outs, 20 disposals, and a goal after taking an impressive contested mark at the top of the goal square.
