Walyalup fans have the chance to own a piece of Club history as the 2024 Indigenous home jumpers go up for auction.

The jumpers are match-worn by the players in the Sir Doug Nicholls Round 11 draw between Collingwood.

The auction is now live until Friday 31 May and gives fans the opportunity to bid on the playing 23’s match-worn and signed home Indigenous jumpers, designed by Club legend Michael Johnson in collaboration with Daniel McHenry.

Johnson and McHenry are cousins, and their jumper design tells the story of their family bloodlines originating in Kija country (Halls Creek) and Ballardong country (Quairading).

The jumper pays respect to those who have come before and is a call-back to the original jumper Johnson wore when he debuted for the Club.

Club Captain Alex Pearce’s jumper will be one of the hottest items after his clutch mark and goal late in the fourth term, helping Walyalup come from behind to secure a draw against the reigning premiers.

ALL THE HIGHLIGHTS

Speedy defender Jordan Clark’s jumper will be another highly sought-after jumper after his career-high 35 disposals performance.

The Club would like to thank its Indigenous Program partner Woodside Energy for their support of, and continued involvement in, the delivery of Walyalup's Reconciliation Action Plan.

Bidding is currently open and runs until Friday 31 May, so don’t miss out!
